I am a native speaker of English from Ohio, in the Midwest of the United States.

I have eleven years of teaching experience, most of it with native speakers of Russian.

I am also a polyglot: in addition to my native English, I am conversant in Spanish, and hold university certificates in Russian, German and French.

I lived for three years in Moscow, where I taught at KPMG, TNT, Boeing, Intel, Bayer, Clifford Chance, Visa, and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

I also lived for one year in Kiev, where I was the in-house English teacher and copy editor at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

I am currently writing two books: a dictionary of the 2800 most common words in English, and a book about the learning and teaching of English vocabulary for English teachers.
