Episode #20: Six Synonyms of “Become”

In Episode 20, Tim talks about the common verb BECOME and six synonyms you can use in its place to have more control over your language and sound more sophisticated. One of these verbs is GET, which Tim already spoke about in Episode 6. The other synonyms of BECOME are: TURN, GO, GROW, WAX and FALL.       That Indian fellow seemed… unwell. I marvel at people who have a worthy goal but ally themselves with the world’s worst people.

        Absolutely. I’m waiting for a moment to use “wax”, never came it across, but easy to remember because of a German counterpart.
        As for the mad guy, I wonder if such people can’t see who the villain is or they just rely on a strongman with some plan in mind, idk, I guess it doesn’t make any difference in the long run.
